## What we collect

When you submit an inquiry through our contact form, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address and the content of your message. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry and assess whether there is a good fit for working together.

## Cookies and analytics

This site uses Umami and PostHog to understand how people find and use it: pages viewed, clicks and, in PostHog, recordings of how a page is used, with everything typed into a form masked. PostHog keeps an identifier in your browser. Umami sets no cookies. When you buy, your email is linked to your analytics activity so we can see which pages lead to a purchase. Neither tool runs on the email preferences page. We do not sell or share analytics data with third parties.

## Contact form data

Inquiry form submissions are stored in our own database so we can respond to you and manage our communication. This data is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

## Purchase and download data

When you buy, directly or through an AI agent acting for you, Stripe collects the payment information. Side Quest HQ receives your name and email to deliver what you bought and to send the Side Quest Letter. A free download such as One Alive Thing or Your AI's Charter comes with the Side Quest Letter too. Lane's Personal newsletter is a separate choice. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe. This data stays in our own database and is never sold or shared for marketing.

## We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with any third party for marketing purposes.
